Weekly Status Report

Project team: Group 6 Report Date: February 02nd, 2017

Project Name: Smart Technologies

Reporting Period: January 27th, 2017 - February 02nd, 2017

Summary of Progress since the last report:

- Researched some products related to Smart Technologies such as Smart Home, Smart

Car, Smart Security, Smart TV. Nonetheless, most of these products come from outside

resources, not in CES 2017 website.

Problems Encountered and Actions Taken:

- Could not understand completely the requirements of the project. Need to ask the

professor for the clarification.

- Could not find much information related to Smart Technologies. The only thing that we

can find is Smart Home Technology which is not really specific. Need to research more

from other resources beside CES website.

Planned activities for Next reporting period:

- Meet the professor to have him clarify the requirements as well as the output of the

project.

- Each member need to choose and research a product related to the assigned topic. It will

help us to have a clearer understanding about the products we are working on.

- Will conduct a weekly meeting at 15:30 on every Monday for the project

Anticipated problems:

- Will not meet the project target.

Recommendations & Actions:

- We need to speed up and pay more attention to improving the knowledge of the topic as

well as the class lectures.
