PPO acceptance/rejection
All decisions regarding acceptance/rejection of a PPO before the start of Final Placement must be
communicated via email within 72 hours of the communication sent by the Placement Office.
In case any company mandates a sign-out upon PPO acceptance, the same will be applicable to the
candidate regardless of the Group of the company.
Offers would be classified as group A, B, C and D. The definition and rules pertaining to the acceptance and
rejection of the respective group offers are described below.
Note
The rejection of any PPO after the start of the Final Placement should be communicated by the
candidate via email to the Placement Office within 24 hours of receiving the communication.
If a candidate holds a PPO and appears for Final placement process and then gets an offer, then the
PPO is automatically rejected.
The final decision regarding the group of a company would be taken by the Placement Office.
As and when a PPI gets converted into a PPO, the PPO rules apply.
On-campus Offer Policy
Once a candidate obtains two offers through any of the on campus placement avenues, he/she will
not be eligible for any further applications
Any student who receives an on-campus offer is mandated to join the firm. In case of any violation,
the student would be debarred from alumni membership, as a result losing all privileges and resources
provided to an alumnus of the institute. Furthermore, this breach of trust and violation would be
communicated in writing by the placement office to his/her current employer
