CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
Photography is the science and art of recording image by means of capturing light on
light sensitive medium, such as a firm on electronic sensor. Photography starts as earliest
90’s, they started out as originally black and white custom photo lab. But today, all
photos are now with colors.
Families need photography to capture the special moments of their lives. Especially
Filipino, Filipinos are fan of picture. In any occasion it is not complete without picture
even though reception and food are ready. That’s how value the importance of memories.
Many Filipinos spent a lot for it, just to capture the memories of the special moments.
ARK photography studio, will put up in Cabatuan because this is one of the progressive
town here in Isabela. The proponents will meet the needs of the Filipino people to capture
the special moment in their lives. One of the services of the business is to make ID
pictures more presentable, photo and video coverage in many occasion such as weddings,
birthdays, debut and many more. Even though everyone has their own camera, people
need professional quality photos. Also the ARK photography studio will make memories
more memorable, and surely people of Cabatuan will be satisfied on the services.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This project or what we called business will satisfy the customer choices. The study will
be beneficial to the following:
1.CUSTOMERS
It will benefit satisfaction and it will help them to make choice of service.
2.STUDENTS
It will be used for projects, research works and portfolios.

SCOPE AND DELIMINATION
The proposed project would be in service, for the needs of the Filipino people in terms of
capturing special moments of their lives.The study is focusing in the overall operation of
the business. In its direct printing and editing picture would be one of the service.
The business will serve the City of Cabatuan and different town near said place. The
total capital requirement and who will finance will be identified as well.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
INTERNATIONAL
Photography was commercially introduced in 1839, a date generally accepted as the birth
year of practical photography. Metal-based daguerreotype process soon had some
competition from the paper based colotype negative and salt print processes invented by
william henry fox talbot. Through the earlier prototypes had been developed in the 1820’s
by niepce, to whom some credit for the invention may properly belong . Other processes
for the reproduction of images, without the crucial chemical fixing, had long been
available through the use of the simple”camera obscura”.
As photography and painting were both developing contemporaneously, care must be

taken to distinguish causation and mere coincidence or parallelism. This is particularly so,
given that many photography themselves mimicked painting styles. At the time when the
invention of photography was announced, the art world was in some what of a trough the
more formal academic style of painting based on classicism was generally in slow retreat,
and romanticism had lost its initial impetus. However, some trends toward realism were
emerging, or about to emerging, or about emegre, with the social realists in france, the
pre-raphaelites in england and the landscapists in america.

manufacture of imaging and optical products. And also the kodak it is a technology
company focused on imaging. Though kodak has mostly been known for its historic role
in photography, the company has served imaging needs of numerous industries sincethe
early 1900’s. Kodak’s current portfolio is based on deep technological expertise
developed over the years in materials science, deposition and digital imaging science.
Fuji film created innovative products and deliver effective solutions in a wide variety of
fields to serve society, contribute to the quality of life, and enhance environmental
sustainability.

After the discovery of the daguerreotype in 1839, the spaniards were the first ones to
introduce photography to the philippines dating back to 1841. During that year, don
sinibaldo de mas arrived in the philippines as a government diplomat for the spanish king.
He was tasked to record conditions in the colony and to relay that information back to
spain. He brought the daguerreotype with him from spain to the philippines. He was
recorded to have taken photographs in the philippines but unfortunately, none of it has
been found.
LOCAL
Now that the world is a modern day. Photography business immediately spread in
different places of the philippines, too many photography business became famous one of
this are the nice print photography in manila this is one of the leading, fast rising
companies in digital photo and videos services. And the best photographers own their
business photography like photography by renjo beringuela, B.A studios, imagine nation,
and kitchen pixels this are the most influential business photography in the capital of the
philippines. So here in the province of isabela photography business is imperishabel. The
most influential here are the AKA photo house, serving different products. And also the
well known great image, and the picture city.

METHODOLOGY
The researcher utilized questionnaire and survey questionnaire method in gathering

the needed information for the study. The researcher also did some observation of the
operation of the business to know the demands of the service.
For some additional information, the proponents also follow up question to the
people who live in Cabatuan to know if it will be beneficial for them and if we will
satisfy them. The survey hope to achieve answered personally by the recipient of the
people of Cabatuan.

Our management aspect aims to show the importance of our image that make
of people and citizen of Cabatuan. It includes the procedure of establishing a business;
their salaries, personnel benefits, organizational structure and job description.

expanding our capacity meeting the standard of our consumers; to become one of the
eligible photography studio; offering a professional service with compassion in creating
astonishing moments that our consumers will cherish. Also aims to be known in the
photography industry.

Create a world where the art of Photography is displayed ones part of life; and
sees to it that the needs of the customers are serve with satisfaction and an experience for
a lifetime.

photography and aesthetics

He/She is the man on hand of the product presentation; responsible for the photo

MANAGEMENT THEORY
The owners will adopt Theory X and Y it’s utilized strongly influenced by belief
about worker attitudes. Employees and managers naturally lack of ambition and need
incentives to increase productivity lean toward them.
Theory Y believes that employees are naturally take responsibility, Managers

encourage participation for workers, while Theory X frequently use on style of
leadership. Through this strategic management the owners and employees will develop a
strong relationship and influences each other.

The management provides policies for their employees that will serve as their
guide for them to do their work organized.

“PRODUCTION AND TECHNICHAL ASPECT“
Introduction
The production and technical aspect discuss the basic and operation flow of the
proposed business, this factors responds to the technicalities and basic structured of the
study. This includes the equipment’s , materials, structure plan. It also discuss how the
product or services are to be produced. In a business aspect is very important in terms of
running a business according accordingly. In a photography business there are many
equipment to be used for the services of the business.
WASTE AND DISPOSAL MANAGEMENT
ARK photography business do care not just about how to have a

profitable business but also how to protect our environment. This is how it will disposed
the waste, the business will be needing a sewer system where all photographic chemical
waste will be disposed and also it will be needing trash can for the over photo paper or
papers.

ARK stands for the first letter in the name of the owners, A for Alonah, R
stands for Raegelle and lastly K for Kevin. The smile shape under the ARK means a
smile of the customer while taking picture in other hand the name of the business is ARK
which also means an ARC so if you turn it it will result to a smile shape.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
Step 1: Once the customer enters the building of our business, the guard will guide the
customer in the front desk.
Step 2: The front desk will greet warmly the customers and for their needs.
Step 3: After the customer gain some information in the front desk, they must wait for
their turn in the waiting area where they can read different magazine
Step 4: The front desk employee will approach the customer if it is their turn.
