Subject: Form-1 and sector specific Pro-forma for Electricity Distribution Companies.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is with reference to the notification no. S.O. 1264 (E) dated 31st March, 2016 vide which
Electricity Distribution Companies were included into PAT cycle-II. As per sub-rule (1) of rule
3 of THE ENERGY CONSERVATION (THE FORM AND MANNER FOR SUBMISSION OF
REPORT ON THE STATUS OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION BY THE DESIGNATED
CONSUMERS) RULES, 2007, OF ENERGY CONSERVATION ACT, 2001, every
designated consumer shall furnish the details of Annual Energy Returns in Form-1 in
electronic form to the concern State Designated Agency (SDA) with a copy to Bureau of
Energy Efficiency within three months from the end of the previous financial year.

In regard to above, BEE has prepared Form-1 and sector specific pro-forma to capture
energy consumption details of DISCOMs which is approved by the Technical Committee for
DISCOM under PAT Cycle-II, Minutes of Meeting of 7th Technical Committee is enclosed. In
view of this, it is requested you to kindly submit the energy consumption details of FY: 2014-
15 and FY: 2016-17 in the sector specific pro-forma and Form-1 electronically by 15 th
August, 2018.

Form-1 and sector specific pro-forma has also been mailed to concerned officers of your
DISCOM and is also available on mentioned. link (https://beeindia.gov.in/content/pat-
proforma). In case, if you haven't received the same, kindly contact Mr. Archit Saxena
(Sector Expert: a.saxenabeenet.in, +91-8860637080) or Ms. Surya Yadav (Project
Engineer: suryay@beenet.in).

BEE requests you to provide the details of Annual Energy Returns in the shared formats and
submit it to SDA with a copy to BEE at the earliest.
