U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the City of Birmingham.
Itis our position that the activity has not been to the benefit of the
affected citizens and property owners.
We have observed a lot of testing, yet very little relief.
'tis goal to assist citizens and property owners to be more intelligent
about their rights and pursue options for community reinvestment
by the companies, that we believe have been the polluters of our
community.
To that end, | would like to begin our work, which will include the inglenook
Neighborhood which we understand is the current EPA target, by meeting
‘with community and religious leaders to share our position and our plan of
action to assist the residents and property owners.
1'am requesting a short meeting with you to share with you
where we are and where we plan to go. | would like to
have the meeting before the week is out (Wednesday, Nov. 18
or Thursday, Nov. 19) in inglenook from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m:
1 will secure the location upon confirmation from you, especially
President Cauthen,
look forward to hearing from you and will call as well.
Thank you.

We are here to provide the citizens of Inglenook information that will help them make the
best decision when the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) tries to designate the area as a
Superfund Site or put Inglenook on the National Priorities List (NPL) by sampling the soil and as
a result, possibly labeling your property as a toxic dump.
We want to inform, educate and give the citizens full disclosure of all the facts based on the
EPA coming into your city.
