Pre Lesson
1. Pupils complete the puzzle of the picture of a king crowning a new
king at the whiteboard ..
2. Teacher asks some questions about the picture.
eg. Who is this? Where do you think he lives?
3. Teacher introduces the lesson- Write a story on what happened after
the King Sam proclaimed John as the new king.
4. Based on the picture, teacher introduces the sentence structures using
SVO table.
5. In pairs, teacher gives a few words. Pupils practise writing a sentence
using mini white board. Teacher corrects pupils’ mistake.
While lesson
6. Pupils sit in group of 5.
ACTIVITIES 7. Each group is given an envelope consist of a picture with the words
given.
8. Pupils construct at least 2 sentences based on the picture on the
mahjong paper.
9. Pupils present their answer. Teacher correct pupils mistake.
10. Teacher guides the pupils to write the sentences into paragraph to
form a complete story
Post Lesson
11. Pupils do different worksheet according to their abilities.
12. Low proficency – Rewrite the story.
13. Intermediate- Pupils do REBUS writing.
14. Advance pupils- Write the different ending of the story.
Closure.
15. Teacher elicite moral values from the story.
