The Principal called the meeting at 1:00 PM

POINTS OF DISCOURSE:

1. DepEd Order No. 65, s. 2010. General Guidelines on the Opening of Classes,
including collection of school contributions, enrolment, student uniforms and
release of MOOE.
2. DepEd Order No. 83, s. 2010. Amendments to DepEd Order No. 77, s. 2009
(Guidelines for the Conduct of Elections of the PTA at the School Level and
their Federations)
3. DepEd Order No. 26, s. 2010. Calendar of School Events and Activities for SY
2010 – 2011
4. Election of New PTA Officers – General and Homeroom Officers
5. Adopt resolution #1 s. 2010 authorizing the PTA Treasurer and the School
Cashier to collect voluntary contributions and fees from the students enrolled
for SY 2010 – 2011.
6. Meeting adjourned 3:20 PM.

EXCERPTS FROM THE MINUTES OF THE PTA GENERAL ASSEMBLY


MEETING HELD AT CUENCA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL COVERED STAGE
ON JULY 2, 2010 RESOLVING DEPED ORDER NO. 65, s. 2010 GENERAL
GUIDELINES ON THE OPENING OF CLASSES, INCLUDING COLLECTION
OF SCHOOL CONTRIBUTION, ENROLMENT, STUDENT UNIFORMS AND
RELEASE OF MOOE

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Constitution mandates for free public education, students
in public secondary schools shall be enrolled without having to pay any amount as a
requirement for enrollment;

WHEREAS, DepEd Order #65 series 2010 sets the policies on the collection of
school contributions on voluntary basis beginning on the second month of the school
year;

WHEREAS, upon consultation and deliberation, the parents agreed on the policy
guidelines set forth in the DepEd Order;

WHEREAS, parents agreed further to pay voluntarily on the miscellameous fees and
will pay compulsory on the following: P/30.00 monthly for the suatainability of the
computer lab, P/90.00 for school paper, P/10.00 for school clubs/organization, P/5.00
monthly for barangay tanods and P/50.00 for PTA fee.

WHEREAS, the association is authorizing the PTA treasurer and or the School
Treasurer to collect the voluntary contributions agreed upon in the meeting;

NOW, THEREFOR, on motion duly seconded unanimously, be it

Resolved, as it is hereby resolved, authorizing the school through the PTA


treasurer and or the school treasurer to collect voluntary contributions and fees from
students enrolled this school year 2010 – 2011 and continued use of uniforms and
ID’s.
