2 A pin-jointed truss is to be constructed over a road for pedestrian traffic. The clear span L 3, CO 1
of the road is 10 m and the available length of each pin-jointed member is 1 m. The
structure needs to be column free to allow vehicular traffic below the foot over bridge.
Design the geometrical configuration of pin-jointed truss such that,
i) The truss is determinate.
ii) The truss is indeterminate to the degree of your choice.
