MAED SCIENCE
I. How has science evolved through human and technological advancement?
Our personal life is highly dependent on the technology that people have developed. Technology was advanced with years
and it has changed in many waste as people’s demands and life style change, the demand for advancing the time of technology we use in high
almost everything we use has been innovated to better standards, a good example is the mobile phone. The type of phone that we have before
are no longer on demand in this century. The demands of mobile phone users have change greatly and this has resulted in the advancement of
mobile phone technologies. The effects of technology advancement are both positive and negative. Positively, technology advancement has
simplified to do things. Negatively, technology has made humans lazy.
II. What is the role of science and technology in society and performance in terms of the following

III. Based on the recommended actions, what are the possible recommendations for institutions (schools and government agencies) in
terms of the following:
Science Transitions Schools should raise awareness to the learners most specially in problem solving. Schools
should focus in developing the students in shaping their future through holistic approach. The
schools must be the guiding institution to shape the every learners.
Communication and Education The scientific communication skills of the learners a school must hone. There should be
scientific communication training to encourage more students to improve such skills. This
will pave way to increase learners to focus in science and technology.
Industrialized vs. Developing Countries Government agencies should exercise equitable plans to provide the scientific needs of each
country. In these case, the poorest country should he given priority.
Economic vs. sustainable development Agencies that provide research grants should be broader in their terms of reference and more
neutral and flexible so that scientists are not continually pushed to find short-term solutions
when long-term ones are needed. In some countries, the allocation of research funds is
controlled by small powerful groups who engage in favouritism for their own personal gain or
prestige. Governments should ensure that systems for evaluating and funding project
proposals are fair, objective, and transparent.
Science Policy and Ethics Our school and government agencies must be the primary institutions to direct the citizenry of
what is scientifically right and wrong. They should be the one imbibe and regulate such rules
to guide the nation.
Science and Society Government agencies must give efforts in imploring the aid in improving science. These
agencies should know their roles in improving the society.
