• Vented or Sealed An electric (DC) motor is used to circulate both warm and cool
BLOWER MOTORS
° Vented - includes air circulation holes or a tube air inside the cab and/or the sleeper.
to cool the motor The blower motor “blows” and circulates the warm air from the
° Sealed - sealed from the elements - usually used
outside of the cab fins of the heater core or cools the air as it passes from the fins
of the evaporator.
Note: All single wire motors are internally grounded.

All Multi-wired motors not having a black colored wire are internally grounded motors.
Internally grounded motors will not function properly if the external wiring/harness is also grounded.
