l This can be used as a watchdog for specific nationwide condition.
The condition can be configured around MIB variables and other
equipment level parameters across multiple equipment. l Its totally
flexible mechanism generates alarm or any other notification
whenever the preset condition is reached. l It can be plugged with a
Network Management product like Openview or stand-alone. l The
Generator is developed in JAVA for ease of portability.
Case Based Resolver (CBR)
l The Case Based Resolver stores alarms generated in the past
with associated solutions. l As and when an alarm is raised
within the Network and fed in CBR, past cases are compared
using Case Based reasoning technique. l The closest matches on
display help the administrator to devise apt solutions for current ...
situation. l The administrator can save and file the current
solution for future use. l Frequently generated, repetitive alarms
can be associated with the automatic firing of solutions, without
operator intervention.
