TROPOSFERA.- Empieza
en la superficie y se extiende
verticalmente hasta
aproximadamente los
35,000 pies.
El espesor de la troposfera
varia con la latitud, siendo
mas ensanchada en el
Ecuador que en los polos.
Varia también con las
estaciones del año (más
ancha en el verano y menos
en el invierno.
ESTRATOSFERA.-
La principal
característica que
distingue la
troposfera de la
estratosfera es el
rango de variación de
la temperatura.

FRIO
CALIENTE
OCLUIDO
ESTACIONARIO

precipitation is reported as light or greater intensity?
A: 4,000 feet thick. A
B: 2,000 feet thick.
C: A thickness which allows the cloud tops to be higher than the
freezing level.
9194 Which condition produces weather on the lee side of a large lake?
A: Warm air flowing over a colder lake may produce fog.
B: Cold air flowing over a warmer lake may produce advection fog. A
C: Warm air flowing over a cool lake may produce rain showers.

TORMENTAS

9226 What is the lowest cloud in the stationary group associated with a
mountain wave?
A: Rotor cloud.
B: Standing lenticular. A
C: Low stratus.

MENSAJES METEOROLOGICOS
For example,
EGLL is used for London Heathrow and
RJTT for Tokyo Narita airports.
