SUMMARY I am seeking a position as a Senior English teacher. My passion for literature in
conjunction with my teaching style makes me a qualified candidate for this position. Seniors should be encouraged to think critically, yet they oftentimes learn literature and nothing more. Who asks them, “What is literature’s relevance? How does it connect to their lives? What does it say about our human condition?” Questions like these will structure all of my teaching. I believe that I can provide an educational experience unlike any other—an experience which will create a new class of thinkers in a divided world.
