Now, I would like to introduce to you our most valuable material, the soil.

The soil to be
used in our study will be coming from Cavite. It will be classified based on ASTM Classification
System. Under ASTM Classification table, liquid limit, plasticity index, and percentage passing
on No. 10, 40, and 200 Sieve are required to classify the soil. The soil will undergo liquid limit
test and plastic limit test as stated in ASTM D4318-05,and sieve analysis based on AASHTO T
27 to obtain the data needed.

After classifying the soil, it will be stabilized based on the lime discussed by Mr. Tan.
