Worked more than five years as a full-time field representative for the firm. The firm’s drawings were only
used as a general reference in the field; therefore, most of the actual golf course design work was done in
the field. This included directing the clearing of the property, production of grading plans, drainage design,
and most of the actual design of the golf course.

• Directed six highly rated projects, completing them in a timely fashion at reasonable cost.
Responsible for most of the design for those projects, including clearing, grading, drainage, grassing,
and landscaping.
• Directed portions of the work at four additional projects.
• Worked closely with owners representatives, engineers, and land planners to successfully design and
integrate project drainage systems and coordinate simultaneous golf course and residential
development.
• Installed drainage, shaped portions of golf holes, and finish-graded portions of golf holes, utilizing
bulldozers, backhoes, tractors, and other construction equipment.
• Functioned as construction foreman and labor supervisor on projects where Fazio Golf Course
Designers had the contract for golf course shaping.
