THESIS SYNOPSIS

1.MEDITATION CENTER:
NEED TO STUDY:
 Meditation Centre is an area which allows a person to talk to the
conscience, where freedom is considered to be a state of mind. Different
physical and mental exercises are carried out to cope with illness or to
enhance overall health and well-being, to increase calmness and physical
relaxation or to improve physiological balance.
 In this materialistic world, human beings are profoundly running behind
monetary gains. They are searching for happiness and peace, but all the
materialistic joy seems to be instantaneous. To provide stability and eternal
happiness to the society, a meditation is extremely required. It is also
helpful in making a sincere and responsible society.

AIM: To develop an interaction and meditation space for the betterment of


society and the tourism development of the city.

OBJECTIVES:
 To provide an economic base for the locals.
 To utilize the meditation potential of the site.
 Integration the local culture and philosophy.

SCOPE & LIMITATIONS: The project may have no limitations but the
architectural drawings will be limited, the drawings will be conceptual and good
for presentation.
2.LIGHT MUSEUM:
AIM: To design world-class exhibition of lighting products and systems with
focus on efficient lighting technologies in the residential, commercial and industrial
sectors.

OBJECTIVE:
 To showcase interactive lighting applications where “cause and effects” are
demonstrated effectively on manual and digital systems.
 To showcase illumination technology that allows light to be used in diverse
areas ranging from homes ,office, theatre,shops/malls,streets,industry,
painting,photography, laser/light shows and holographic 3-D images.
 To cover indian and international technologies designed to be of interest to
the light professionals as well as the general public.
 To give be an opportunity to understand and explore advanced lighting
concepts and enhance performance.
 To study the techniques of natural lighting in museum.
 To show the relationship between light and built space.
SCOPE:
 This projects scopes out for complete understanding of efficient lighting in
built form and incorporate the same in museum design.
 Study of efficient day lighting techniques in different building types like
residential,commercial,institutional..etc.

LIMITATION: The site should be in outskirts of the urban areas where income
of light can be adequate without pollution.
3.MEMORIAL FOR TRIBAL:
AIM: The architecture of the museum is inspired by tribal rhythms, geometries,
materials, forms, aesthetics and spatial consciousness these very qualities are
now acting as points of inspiration for the display materials being created by
tribal artisans.

OBJECTIVES:
 The galleries will be arranged manner that will leave a deep impact on
visitors.
 The gallery will have wooden or terracotta mannequins with tattoo marks.
SCOPE & LIMITATION: Visitors will be directly observe here as to how
cultural offshoots of a tribal community crawl into other tribes beyond borders of
neighboring state.
