Objective Statement
To obtain an engineering position in which I can put my developed skills in design, project management,
process, controls, instrumentation and automation to improve society.
Midwest Grain Products, Mechanical Engineering Intern May 2017 – August 2018
Assisted control engineers with updating and optimizing the automation systems
at the distillery location
Created hundreds of graphics to be implemented in the HMI for operator use
Project manager for several projects: wall reconditioning of barrel warehouses,
replacement of barrel-ricking hoist, relocation of grain-shed, house demolition, etc.
First-hand wire routing experience and instrumentation upkeep
Crane Aerospace and Electronics, Engineering Co-op Jan 2016 – Jan 2017
Two semesters working with Large Centrifugal, as well as, Positive Displacement
oil and fuel pumps for military and commercial grade aircraft
Responsible for design, drawing, and analysis of products and test fixtures
Gained valuable 3D modeling, drawing, and designing experience
Experience directing factory personnel during projects and tests
