Indirect question with a noun clause


Formula: Main clause + noun clause
Broken down formula:
Option 1
Main clause: auxiliary (do) + subject (you) + verb (know)

Noun clause: wh- (where) + subject (the bank) + verb (is) + ?

Option 2
Main clause: auxiliary (can) + subject (you) + verb (tell) + complement (me)

Noun clause: wh- (where) + Subject (I) + modal (can) + verb (buy) + complement (milk) + ?

Notes:
Don’t use the question format in noun clauses.
Noun clauses follow the affirmative statement format.
