ROLES AND RESP ON ABILITIES:

> Interface with site supervisors on a daily basis to provide proactive technical advice for
field activities.
> Verify safety precautions that are stipulated on permits to work , risk assessments and
job safety analysis are being implemented.
> Verify the third party certification for loose lifting gear,pressure vessel, electrical
equipment etc. and to ensure these are correctly colour coded and being used properly.
> Verify all scaffoldings are tagged and in a safe condition.
> Identify site hazards , sub-standard health and safety practices and condition and bring to
the immediate attention of site supervisors to it.
> Closely monitor high risk activities like confined space entry, gas testing and air
monitoring, lifting activities, work at height , movement of abnormal loads etc.
> Conduct tool box talks with workforce to discuss issues such as Health and Safety policy ,
importance of ppe , recent incidents etc.
> Identify additional safety training requirements to be delivered to the work force.
> Investigate unsafe acts and conditions and provide solutions to prevent recurrences.
> Place safety posters , hazard flashes , site safety campaign promotional material and the
results of safety incentive schemes prominently on site.
> Provide a Daily , weekly, monthly summary report of field HSE issues and activities
including HSE documentation like risk assessments , JSAs , tool box talks produced ,etc.
> Devise ,develop and monitor effective Fire Plans and Fire Risk Assessments strategies and
make recommendations on the implementation of these strategies. e.g. Prepare a
Calendar of periodic Risk Assessment and Audit across the Company facilities and
processes and, carry out the same as planned .
> Provide training to staff in relation to Health and Safety policies, practice and procedures.
> Design Safety Meeting Presentations.
> Carry out on Site Safety inspection ,where required by Client to ensure work being
carried out on site by workers are meeting the Client’s safety rules and regulations.
> Prepare list of Personal Protective Equipment required for various jobs and maintain a list
of approved suppliers ,whose supplies quality is inspected and certified at time of receipt.
