EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER TRAINING

(Ages 3-6)

ADMISSION PROCESS
Submit a complete application. This includes:
• Completed admission application with $500 application fee
• Official transcript (or evaluation report for foreign educational credential)
• Three references (can be emailed to Julissa.zenteno@agbms.org)

Upon review, the Academic Director will contact candidate to schedule an interview

COURSE SCHEDULE

• Summer 1—-Academic Phase: June 04 —July 20, 2018


• Summer 2—-Final Exams: June 1, 2019
• Weekend Seminars: November 2018- March 2019
• Practicum Internship: September 2018—June 2019
• Practicum Seminars: 16 hours (included in schedule)

TUITION AND FEES

• Tuition Fee: $6000.00 (includes 3 visits)


• Application Fee: $500.00
• Certification/Membership Fee: MACTE $166.00, AMS Adult Learner Fee $230
• Credit hour fee through NLU $150.00 p/credit hour (optional)

AGBMS Montessori Teacher Training Institute admits students without regard to race, religion,

course requirements students will receive an American Montessori Society Early Childhood
Credential or Early Childhood Associate.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The candidate for the Early Childhood Credential holds a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from
an accredited institution. An Associate Early Childhood Credential may be given to students
who do not have a 4-year college degree. Candidates for the Associate Early Childhood
Credential must complete all requirements for the program in which they are enrolled. Teachers
with an Associate Credential are eligible for the Early Childhood Credential when the 4-year
college degree requirement has been completed and an official college transcript is sent to the
certifying agency.
