I designed my classroom with the word comfort and clean in mind. The entrance to our classroom is on the left top corner. To

the right of it we have a water fountain for when the students are thirsty. If we keep going right we have the first of the two bathrooms.

In between the bathrooms we have our technology center. 8 computers are available for students during free time of during any other

time when permitted. On the right top corner we have our reading corner. Two bookcases full of amazing stories are available to my

students. They have a rug and pillows to get comfortable and read. On the right hand wall we have two sets of filing cabinets. They

will be used to help organize student lessons. On the right bottom corner the teacher’s desk will be available. To the left of the desk

will be the word wall/announcement wall. New words that have been taught will appear on the wall all throughout the year. Also on

that bulletin board, important announcements will be posted as well. On each side of the bulletin board we have pictures of animals

and a teamwork poster. On the left bottom corner we have the art center. All kinds of art supplies will be found here. When we are

working on projects all the resources needed will be there. On the left side of the classroom, the white board can be found.

Instructional time will occur there. All kinds of fun lessons will be demonstrated on the white board. The center of the classroom holds

desks for the 20 students. They all have a partner to the side. With the partner they can discuss answers and ask for help. Behind the
desk will be the reading/ activity carpet. When we, as a class, are reading a story or an announcement will be made students will be

gathered here.
