1. Pupils listen to a story about ‘My Family’.
1. Pre-Lesson 2. Teacher elicits answers about the family members from the pupils
based on the story.
3. Pupils identify the family members from the story.

2. Lesson 1. Pupils are divided into groups of four.


Development 2. Pupils will listen and answer the given questions orally.
3. Each group members are required to talk about their family
members.

3. Post-Lesson 1. Teacher guides the pupils to complete the tree map (Family tree).
2. Pupils will present their tree map in the class.

My Family

There are only four persons in my family. The family consists of my

father, my mother, my younger sister and me. My sister is younger to

me by two years. We are the students of the same school. We go to

school together and return together by the school bus. I am studying

in Transition class and she is a primary 5 student. On return from the

school, we play together. I have a pet dog. My father is working as

teacher. My mother is a housewife and looks after the household. She

remains busy throughout the day. She helps me and my sister in

completing our homework. We go out sometimes. My family is a

happy family.
