DAILY PLAN OF ACTIVITIES

General Objectives: At the end of the shift the students will be able to cope up with the different hospital
personalities, policies, physical set-up and various ER procedures and be able to apply leadership and management
principles pertinent to the care of clients in an emergency situation.
Cognitive Domain: The Students will be able to apply learning’s about Emergency Nursing and Leadership and
Management. The students will also be able to familiarize with the ER set-up and the functions of the ER head
nurses, charge nurses, staff nurses, volunteer nurses.
Psychomotor Domain: The Students will be able to perform leadership and management roles in an ER set-up,
perform skills properly during emergency situation.
Affective Domain: The students will be able to show comfort and care for clients and their relatives in a
professional manner.
Type of Leadership: Democratic. A group is not only composing of a leader but also of its members. Everyone in
the group has the right to voice out and participate in group activities and decision making.
