i.identify one character and describe him by writing in one paragraph
ii.talk about one character they like and give one reason

1. Pupils draw one picture they can see in a fun fair
2. Teacher asks about the picture they have drawn

ACTIVITY 1
1. Pupils complete the plot in the flow chart on their own
2. Pupils share their answers with a friend
3. Teacher chooses some pupils to explain the plot

ACTIVITY 2

1. Using the bubble maps, pupils write the characteristics of Lee

2. Using the character traits they have written, teacher guides them to find the evidence from
the story.

3. Pupils present their answers.

ACTIVITY 3:

1. Pupils talk about their favourite character other than Lee and give one reason.

POST ACTIVITY
1. Pupils tell their suggestion what to advise Lee for not having money to go to the funfair.
