Azazel and the Rebellious Angels

Some angels reviled the newly created Adam. The angels were jealous of Adam, whom God had
created to be over all His creations, including the angels themselves. The angels accused Adam
of being unworthy of such honor, even questioning God‟s good judgment; they attempted to
overthrow God and failing to do so, at last engineered Adam‟s fall. So God sent them away to
our Earth, testing the angels according to their own plan (for they held that their conduct would
be more righteous than mans) knowing that their conduct would be worse than that of mankind.
In Kebra-Nagast we are told:

And there were certain angels with whom God was wroth…they reviled Adam…“why do ye
magnify yourselves over Adam? If ye were as he, and I had created you of water and dust, ye
would have been flesh and blood (incarnate), and ye would have transgressed My (God‟s)
commandment more than he hath done, and denied My word.” And the angels said unto Him,
“Praise be unto Thee, O Lord! Far be it from us! We will not transgress Thy commandment,
and we will not oppose Thy word; for we are spiritual beings for life, and he is a creature of dust
(doomed) to folly. And now try us well, and put us to the test so that Thou mayest know whether
we are able to keep Thy word.” “And to you (angels), according to what ye wish, there shall be
upon you the mind of a man and the body of a man (God made these angels incarnate). But take
good heed to yourselves that ye transgress not My word and break not My commandment; and
defile not ye yourselves with eating, or drinking, or fornication, or with any other thing
whatsoever; and transgress ye not My word.” And straightway there were given unto them with
His word flesh, and blood, and a heart of the children of men (the angels were made incarnate).
And they (the angels) were content to leave the height of heaven, and they (the angels) came
down to earth (to our Earth)… Kebra-Nagast: Chapter 100 (See also Imrei Noam)

The Book of Enoch continues the story of the angels‟ descent to our Earth and relates to
us how in the days of Jarod 200 angels landed on Mt. Hermon amongst the Anti-Lebanon
mountain range on the Lebanon-Syrian border (perhaps upon the modern-day Israeli Golan
Heights), taking up residence amongst the human population of the Earth, mating with them and
corrupting mankind with their knowledge. It was at this time that the angel Azazel, banished
from the New Earth by God, arrived on our Earth. These 200 angels would have appeared on
Mt. Hermon in 5000 B.C. teaching the human inhabitants of our Earth many “mysteries” such as
metallurgy and warfare, influencing human affairs. The date of their descent corresponds to the
beginning of the Pottery Neolithic B Period (5000-4300 B.C.) in Palestine. As a result of the
angels‟ introduction of the art of warfare to mankind in 5000 B.C., the settlement activity
initiated at the time of the appearance of Adam declined while some cities were even
depopulated as is substantiated by the archaeological record.
 The following is an excerpt from The Book of Jubilees:

…she bare him a son…he called his name Jarod, for in his days the angels of the Lord
descended on the earth (the angels came to our Earth from the New Earth), those whose name
are the Watchers, that they should instruct the children of men, and that they should do
judgment and uprightness on the earth. The Book of Jubilees IV.15

God commanded and sent a detachment of alien angelic beings capable of interstellar
flight to come to our Earth from an otherworldly planet known as the New Earth in order that the
technologically advanced angels would teach ancient human populations on our Earth to be
righteous according to the laws of God. These angels were given a directive by agreement: they
were sent under orders to benefit mankind and not to transgress the laws of God as Adam whom
they reviled had so done. These angels, however, like Adam before them, transgressed the
commands of God, mating with Earth women and teaching a multitude of evils to mankind. The
Book of Enoch tells us there were 200 angels (the Watchers) who were involved in this mission.
Amongst this group of angels was the Genesis serpent Azazel of Garden of Eden fame. This
detachment of angels, and these would be traveling in interstellar spacecraft known as cherubim,
traveled to our Earth and landed upon Mount Hermon in Syria:

And they (the angels) were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the
summit of Mount Hermon… 1Enoch VI. 6

Their numbers are confirmed by The Kawan:

…the two hundred demons (read: rebellious fallen angels) came down to the sphere (to the
Earth) from the high heaven… The Kawan M363 (See also M101 Fragment j of The Kawan. The two hundred trees
therein represent these two hundred angels. Trees are often used to symbolize angels)

The Book of Enoch purports to know many of the names of these angels who landed
upon Mount Hermon and goes as far as to identify those angels responsible for this affair:

…Jeqon: that is, the one who led astray [all] the sons (angels) of God, and brought them (the
angels) down to the earth, and led them astray through the daughters of men. And the second
was named Asbeel: he imparted to the holy ones (angels) of God evil counsel, and led them
astray so that they defiled their bodies with the daughters of men. 1Enoch LXIX. 4-5 (It is the angel
Jeqon who is “the first star (the angel) which led the way” spoken of in 1Enoch XC.21. Stars are a common symbol for angels
and their cherubim)

1Enoch VI.7 contains a lengthy list of the names of 18 angels who are amongst the
commanders of the expedition of two hundred angels who were sent as Watchers to our Earth.
These angels are described as “chiefs of tens,” each angelic commander commanding a troop
comprised of ten angels. These include their leader Semiazaz (See 1Enoch IX.7). The troop
commanders in this heavenly detachment include the angels Arakiba, Rameel, Kokabiel, Tamiel,
Ramiel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel,
Turel, Jomjael and Sariel. These 18 are amongst the twenty chiefs of ten in command of the 200
angel detachment sent to our Earth in the days of Jared, son of Lamech. Upon their arrival, these
angels began to mate with the women of the Earth, transgressing the celibacy laws imposed by
God:

And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself
one, and they began to go in unto them (having sexual intercourse with them) and to defile
themselves with them…And they (their wives) became pregnant, and they bare great giants…
1Enoch VII.1,2

According to 1Enoch LXXXVI.1, at the first a lone angel descended to the Earth, living
amongst the human population. Many angels later followed, joining up with him (See 1Enoch
LXXXVI.3). These angels came in human form.

According to 1Enoch LXXXVI.1-4, alien incarnated angels came to our planet and set up
residence amongst the human earthling population, the angels intermating with the female
members of the human race. All of the angels are said to be males, and sexually well endowed
ones at that, being described as angels “whose privy members were like those of horses” (See
1Enoch XC.21).

It was said of these angels:

…they (the 200 angels) have gone to the daughters of men upon the earth, and have slept with
the women, and have defiled themselves, and revealed to them all kinds of sins. And the women
have borne giants (angel/human hybrids), and the whole earth has thereby been filled with blood
and unrighteousness. 1Enoch IX.8-9

and:

You (read: the rebellious fallen angels) have been in heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet
been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you
have made known to the women (with which they cohabitated), and through these mysteries
women and men work much evil on the earth. 1Enoch XVI.3 (See also Surah 72.6 of The Koran. The jinn
therein mentioned are Azazel and the angels who came with him to our Earth)

It was concerning these angels of which the following scripture speaks:

And Uriel said to me: „Here shall stand the angels who have connected themselves with women,
and their spirits assuming many different forms are defiling mankind and shall lead them astray
into sacrificing to demons as gods, (here shall they stand), till the day of the great judgment in
which they shall be judged till they are made an end of. 1Enoch XIX.1 (According to The Book of Baruch,
Israel was carried off into the Babylonian captivity because “…you (the people of Israel) provoked him (God) who made you by
sacrificing to demons and not to God.” The Book of Baruch 4:7. The people of Israel worshipped and offered sacrifices to idols.
It is the spirits and the fallen angels which the idols represented which were worshipped, not the idols as such themselves. The
worship of demons is called „demonolatry‟) (Origen in his Contra Celsus, Book 6 Chapter XXXIX tells us “those who employ
the arts of magic and sorcery…invoke the barbarous names of demons.”)

and again:

…the angels…descended to the earth, and revealed what was hidden to the children of men (to
humans) and seduced the children of men into committing sin. 1Enoch LXIV.2 (See also Zohar 3:208a
where Aza‟el = Azazel))

The Book of Enoch sheds light on the kinds of mysteries the angels revealed to mankind.
According to 1Enoch LXIX the angel Gadreel taught men the ways of war (as did Azazel. See
1Enoch VIII.1), Penemue taught them writing and Kasdeja revealed medical teachings including
abortion. According to 1Enoch VIII the angel Semjaza taught agricultural secrets, Baraqijal
taught astrology, and Kokabel taught them astronomy. In addition to instructing them in the
ways of war, Azazel also taught mankind about metallurgy, how to make the weapons of war (in
such capacity he was worshipped by the Romans as Vulcan and the Greeks as Hephaestus, the
god of metalworking, arms and armor), how to make jewelry, eye-makeup and about gold and
silver and precious stones, which is to say, he taught them about money, the love of which is the
root of all evil. In such a capacity he was worshipped as Mammon, the Syrian god of riches. It
must also be noted the Bronze Age in the Middle East (5000 B.C. - 1200 B.C.) began at precisely
the time of the appearance of these angels in the year 5000 B.C. During the Bronze Age period
the first weapons made of metals appear, corresponding with the appearance of the metalworking
angel Azazel. In addition, gold was one of the chief metals used during the Bronze Age. The
archaeological record thus totally agrees with the facts revealed in The Book of Enoch (1Enoch)
concerning the teachings of the angel Azazel and of the angels who accompanied him to our
Earth and the effects they had upon the ancient cultures.
The Apocalypse of Abraham 14:4 calls Azazel “him who has scattered about the earth the
secrets of heaven.” Kephalaia (Discourses) Chapter 92 tells us “the Egregoroi (the Grigori; the
angels) of Heaven…descended to the earth. They did all deeds of malice. They revealed the arts
in the world, and the mysteries of heaven to the men. Rebellion and ruin came about on the
earth.”

As God so rightfully prophesied the rebellious angels transgressed the commandments of

God even more than Adam had before them:

“And to you (the rebellious fallen angels), according to what ye wish, there shall be upon you the
mind of a man and the body of a man (God made these angels incarnate). But take good heed to
yourselves that ye transgress not My word and break not My commandment; and defile not ye
yourselves with eating, or drinking, or fornication, or with any other thing whatsoever; and
transgress ye not My word.” And straightway there were given unto them with His word flesh,
and blood, and a heart of the children of men (they were incarnate). And they were content to
leave the height of heaven, and they came down to earth (to our Earth), to the folly of the
dancing of the children of Cain…And their (the children of Cain‟s) daughters were there, and
they (the angels) enjoyed the orgies without shame…And the men (the angels in bodies of men)
did not restrain themselves for a moment, but they took to wife from among women those whom
they had chosen, and committed sin with them…And the daughters of Cain with whom the
angels had accompanied conceived… Kebra-Nagast: Chapter 100 (It must be remembered, Cain was the son of the
angel Azazel by Eve, and he was banished to the native human population on the Earth. Cain and his offspring had 1000 years to
interbreed before the appearance of these 200 angels upon our Earth. The numbers of Cain‟s offspring must have been
substantial)

The following is from The Zohar:

…Uzza (Semjaza) and Azael (Azazel), who rebelled above, were cast down by the Blessed Holy
One (by God), and materialized on earth, abiding on it…Subsequently they strayed after
earthly women…They engendered children, whom they called Mighty Giants… Zohar 1:58a (See
also Zohar 1:37a) (The Apocalypse of Abraham 13:6,7 states: “And it came to pass when I saw the bird (speaks of Azazel‟s
propensity for wearing bird‟s wing costumes) speaking I said to the angel: “What is this my lord?” And he said, “This is disgrace,
this is Azazel!” And he said to him, “Shame on you Azazel! For Abraham‟s portion is in heaven, and yours is on the earth, for
you have selected here, (and) become enamored of the dwelling place of your blemish. Therefore the Eternal Ruler (God), the
Mighty One, has given you (Azazel) a dwelling on earth.” The „earth‟of which he speaks is our Earth) (According to Tanna d. b.
R. Yishma'el: "The Azazel goat was to atone for the wicked deeds of 'Uzza and 'Azzael (Azazel), the leaders of the rebellious
hosts (of angels) in the time of Enoch" (Yoma 67b))

The Targum of Jonathan on Genesis Chapter 6 tells us:

And it was when the sons of men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and fair daughters
were born to them; and the sons of the great (the sons of God; angels) saw that the daughters of
men were beautiful, and painted, and curled, walking with revelation of the flesh (they went
about naked), and with imaginations of wickedness (the angels lusted after them); that they took
them wives of all who pleased them. The Targum of Jonathan on Genesis Chapter 6

It later continues:

(The angels) Schamchazai (Semjaza) and Uzziel, who fell from heaven, were on the earth in
those days; and also, after the sons of God (the angels) had gone in with the daughters of men,
they bare (sons) to them: and these are they who are called men who are of the world, men of
names (mighty men). The Targum of Jonathan on Genesis Chapter 6

When the angels came to our Earth, they began to mate with human women in direct
contradiction to the commandments of God. The women with which they mated were said to be
the descendents of Cain (Cainites), the son of the angel Azazel by Eve the wife of Adam. The
fact that angels procreate successfully with Earth women as related in Genesis 6:1-4 shows the
true biological nature of their heavenly incarnate bodies, that is, everything about their bodies
functions perfectly well:

When men began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters were born to them, the
sons (angels) of God saw that the daughters of men (female humans) were fair; and they took to
wife such of them as they chose. The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also
afterward, when the sons of God (the angels) came into the daughters of men, and they bore
children to them (the Nephilim are the hybrid offspring of angels and humans). These were the
mighty men („gibborim‟) who were of old, the men of renown (the heroes of old). Genesis 6:1-2,4
(See also The Aramaic Targum of Onkelos on the Pentateuch Genesis 6:1-4) (The Book of Enoch‟s 1Enoch Chapters 7, 12 and
15 give greater details concerning events described in this scripture and God‟s judgment against the wayward angels mentioned
therein)

Seemingly an isolated scripture in The Bible concerning a little known incident in Earth
history, the story of incarnated angels impregnating Earth women is, however, a widely reported
affair by no fewer than 40 individual literary sources with widespread and catastrophically lethal
consequences for those who reside on the Earth. The Roman Catholic Church has long sought to
suppress this ancient knowledge. The Book of Enoch, billed as the most important book not
included in The Bible and banned by the Roman Catholic Church, has this to say about the affair:
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto
them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted
after them, and said to one another; „Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of
men (the humans) and beget us children.‟ 1Enoch VI. 1-2 (For a parabolic rendering of this same narrative, see
also 1Enoch LXXXVI.1-6)

Consider the following from The Apocalypse of Baruch (2Baruch):

…at that time when he (Adam) was created, they (the angels) enjoyed liberty. And some of
them descended (to the Earth), and mingled with women. The Apocalypse of Baruch LVI.11,12

The Book of Jubilees also contains an account of this incident:

And it came to pass when the children of men began to multiply on the face of the earth and
daughters were born unto them, that the angels of God saw them on a certain year of this jubilee,
that they were beautiful to look upon; and they took to themselves wives of all whom they chose,
and they bare unto them sons and they were giants. And lawlessness increased on the earth and
all flesh corrupted its way… The Book of Jubilees V.1,2 (See also the Dead Sea Scrolls 4Q201)

The eminent Jewish historian Josephus (37-100 A.D.) in his Antiquities of the Jews
explains that:

…many angels of God accompanied with women, and begat sons that proved unjust, and
despisers of all that was good, on account of the confidence they had in their strength; for the
tradition is, that these men did what resembled the acts of those whom the Grecians called giants.
Antiquities of the Jews 1.3.1

St. Aristides (circa. 125 A.D.) clarifies this for us stating:

The Greeks…say of their gods (read: angels) that they committed adultery with the daughters of
men; and of these there was born a certain race... The Apology of Aristides the Philosopher (Syriac) ("More
and more we are finding that mythology in general though greatly contorted very often has some historic base. And the
interesting thing is that one myth which occurs over and over again in many parts of the world is that somewhere a long time ago
supernatural beings had sexual intercourse with natural women and produced a special breed of people." Liber Caeruleus)

In The Works of Philo, “On the Giants,” the Jewish philosopher Philo Judaeus of
Alexandria in the 1st Century A.D. says:

And when the angels of God saw the daughters of men that they were beautiful, they took unto
themselves wives of all whom they chose. The Works of Philo

In the 8th Century A.D. Rabbi Eliezer recorded the following remark in a Midrash:

The Angels who fell from Heaven saw the daughters of Cain perambulating and displaying their
secret parts, their eyes painted with antimony in the manner of harlots; and, being seduced, took
wives from among them. Rabbi Eliezer

In A Valentinian Exposition in the Nag Hammadi Library, we are told “the angels lusted
after the daughters of men and came down to flesh…”

The New English Bible translation of Jude 6 speaks of these angels when it tells us:

…the angels…committed fornication and followed unnatural lusts. NEB Jude 6

The early church father Athenagoras, in Chapter 24 of his A Plea for the Christians
Concerning the Angels and Giants (circ.a 2nd Century A.D.), states:

Just as with men, who have freedom of choice as to both virtue and vice…so it is among the
angels…some outraged both the constitution of their nature and the government entrusted to
them…these fell into impure love of virgins, and were subjugated by the flesh, and he became
negligent and wicked in the management of the things entrusted to him. Of these lovers of
virgins, therefore, were begotten those who are called giants. Athenagoras A Plea for the Christians
Concerning the Angels and Giants Chapter 24

Sulpitius Severus (363-425 A.D.) as recorded in Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers Chapter
II of his Sacred History relates how it was believed that when “the human race had increased to a
great multitude, certain angels, whose habitation was in heaven, were captivated by the
appearance of some beautiful virgins, and cherished illicit desires after them, so much so, that
falling beneath their own proper nature and origin, they left the higher region of which they were
inhabitants, and allied themselves in earthly marriages. These angels gradually spreading wicked
habits, corrupted the human family, and from their alliance giants are said to have sprung, for the
mixture with them of beings of a different nature, as a matter of course, gave birth to monsters.”

Julius Africanus (circa 200 A.D.), as related in the Anti-Nicene Fathers Volume VI, says:

When men multiplied on the earth, the angels of heaven came together with the daughters of
men…if it is thought these refer to angels, we must take them to be those who deal with magic
and jugglery, who taught the women the motion of the stars and the knowledge of things celestial
(astronomy), by whose power they conceived the giants as their children, by whom wickedness
came to its height on the earth, until God decreed that the whole race of the living should perish
in their impiety in the deluge (the Flood). Julius Africanus: Anti-Nicene Fathers Volume VI Extant Fragments
from the Chronography Part II

The Acts of Thomas reveals that “I (Azazel) am he who hurled the angels down from
above, and bound them in lusts for women, that earthborn children might come from them and I
fulfill my will in them…”

From Dead Sea Scroll 4Q180 of the Essene‟s at Qumran we learn of “The prophetic
interpretation concerning Azazel and the angels who went in to the daughters of man, so that
they bore mighty men to them. And concerning Azazel who taught them to love iniquity and
caused them to inherit wickedness…” (King David employed giants, albeit the righteous humble
variety, in his army. According to 2Samuel 23:8-9,22 and 1Chronicles 11:11, David employed
three such giants, therein described as mighty men. Most famously he slew a giant, the mighty
Goliath).
 The following scripture is from The Apocryphon of John (The Secret Book of John):

And he (Azazel) made a plan with his powers (with his angels). He sent his angels to the
daughters of men, that they might take some of them for themselves and raise offspring for their
enjoyment…the angels changed themselves in their likeness into the likeness of their mates (the
angels were incarnated into human bodies)…they took women and begot children. The Apocryphon
of John

An ancient Syriac document by Bardesan (154–222 A.D.) entitled The Book of the Laws
of Divers Countries speaks of this period in human history when it states that “the
angels…consorted with the daughters of men, and sinned…”

In The Instructions of Commodianus, “The Worship of Demons,” Commodianus (circa.

3rd Century A.D.) relates that:

When Almighty God…willed that the earth should be visited by angels, when they were sent
down they despised His laws. Such was the beauty of women, that it turned them aside… The
Instructions of Commodianus

Justin Martyr (103–165 A.D.), in his Second Apology, “How the Angels Transgressed,”
says:

God, when He had made the whole world…committed the care of men and all things under
heaven to angels whom He appointed over them. But the angels transgressed this appointment,
and were captivated by love of women, and begat children who are those that are called demons;
and besides, they afterwards subdued the human race to themselves… Second Apology

Lactantius (240-320 A.D.) in The Divine Institutes Book II Chapter 15 states: “When,
therefore, the number of men had begun to increase, God in His forethought, lest the devil
(Satan), to whom from the beginning He had given power over the earth, should by his
subtlety either corrupt or destroy men, as he had done at first, sent angels for the protection and
improvement of the human race; and inasmuch as He had given these free will, He enjoined
them above all things not to defile themselves with contamination from the earth, and thus lose
the dignity of their heavenly nature. He plainly prohibited them from doing that which He knew
that they would do, that they might entertain no hope of pardon. Therefore, while they (the
rebellious fallen angels) abode among men, that most deceitful ruler of the earth, by his very
association, gradually enticed them to vices, and polluted them by intercourse with women.”

The Early Church Father Tertulian (160-220 A.D.) in The Apology Chapter 22 states:

“We are instructed, moreover, by our sacred books how from certain angels, who fell of their
own free-will, there sprang a more wicked demon-brood (the hybrid offspring of the angels and
their human wives), condemned of God along with the authors of their race (the “authors of their
race” are the rebellious fallen angels)…Their great business is the ruin of mankind. So, from the
very first, spiritual wickedness sought our destruction.” The Apology Chapter 22 (This sentiment is echoed
in the following prayer of the Roman Catholic Church entitled Saint Michael’s Prayer against Satan and the Rebellious Angels:
“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God
rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the
evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.”)

In a like way Marcus Minucius Felix (c. 150-270 AD) states:

“There are some insincere and vagrant spirits (read: demons; fallen angels) degraded from their
heavenly vigour by earthly stains and lusts. Now these spirits (angels), after having lost the
simplicity of their nature by being weighed down and immersed in vices, for a solace of their
calamity, cease not, now that they are ruined themselves, to ruin others…” The Octavius of Minucius
Felix Chapter XXVI

Tatian (120-180 A.D.) in 2 Apology 5 (Anti-Nicene Fathers, Vol. 1, 190) states:

“[God]... committed the care of men and of all things under heaven to angels whom He
appointed over them. But the angels transgressed this appointment, and were captivated by the
love of women, and begat children who are those who are called demons; and besides, they
afterwards subdued the human race to themselves, partly by magical writings, and partly by fears
and the punishments they occasioned, and partly by teaching them to offer sacrifices, and
incense, and libations, of which things they stood in need after they were enslaved by lustful
passions; and among men they sowed murders, wars, adulteries, intemperate deeds, and all
wickedness.” 2 Apology 5 (ANF, Vol. 1, 190) (In anti-deluvian times, angels/gods ruled cities, each his own)

Chapter 3 of The Damascus Document, also known as Fragments of a Zadokite Work,

states: “Now therefore, children, hearken unto me, and I will open your eyes to see, and to
understand the works of God and to choose what He approveth, and to reject what He hateth: To
walk uprightly in all His ways and not to go about in the thoughts of an evil imagination and
[with] eyes [full] of fornication. For many were led astray by them, and mighty men of valor
stumbled by them from of old [and until this day]. Because they walked in the stubbornness of
their heart the watchers (angels) of heaven fell. By them were they caught because they kept not
the commandment of God. And their children whose height was like the loftiness of the cedars
(giants) and whose bodies were like the mountains fell thereby. All flesh that was on dry land
perished thereby (in the Flood). And they were as though they had not been. Because they did
their own will, and kept not the commandment of their Maker (God), until His wrath was kindled
against them.”

Indeed, established Jewish “lore” of yore certainly bears witness to this infamous event
in world history. That alien angels came to our Earth and copulated with human Earth women
who consequently bore their offspring was a widely known fact in the 1st Millennium A.D. The
theologian Eusebius also supported this chronicle as fact as did many of the Anti-Nicene and

A copy of the Book of Enoch which told the story of the fallen angels and their sojourn upon
our Earth would have been present in the Bodleian Library of the University of Oxford and the
British Museum in England from the early 17th century onward, as well as being present in at
least one library in Berlin during this same period. The true story concerning the Earthly
existence of Azazel and his angels was a great closely guarded Knights Templar (established
1128 A.D.) and Rosicrucian (established in the 17th Century) mystery, as well as being a
Masonic „top-secret mystery‟ to this very day. Invariably, nearly every secret society proffers
or has proffered this secret truth.
