GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU TENTANG PERILAKU

HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE
DI PUSKESMAS WAENA

Penyakit diare hingga kini masih merupakan salah satu penyakit utama pada bayi
dan anak di Indonesia. Hopocrates mendefinisikan diare sebagai pengeluaran tinja
yang tidak normal dan cair. Bagian Ilmu Kesehatan Anak FKUI dan RSCM
menyatakan bahwa diare diartikan sebagai buang air besar yang tidak normal atau
bentuk tinja yang encer dengan frekuensi lebih banyak dari biasanya. Tujuan
penelitian ini mengetahui Gambaran Pengetahuan dan Sikap Ibu Tentang Perilaku
Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat (PHBS) Dengan Kejadian Diare Di Wilayah Kerja
Puskesmas Waena. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dangan
pendekatan cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan
teknik Accidental sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 384 anak
balita jumlah sampel sebanyak 195 orang. Hasil penelitian Usia ibu paling banyak
berada pada rentang usia 26-35 tahun sebanyak 45.7%. Tingkat pendidikan ibu
paling banyak adalah SMP sebanyak 46.4%, mayoritas ibu sebagai Ibu Rumah
Tangga (IRT) sebanyak 72.9%, mayoritas ibu suku Papua sebanyak 73.6% dan
berdasarkan agama, mayoritas ibu beragama Kristen Protestan sebanyak 72.1%.
Gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) baik
sebanyak 80.7%, Gambaran sikap ibu tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat
(PHBS) baik sebanyak 82,9%. Diharapkan bagi petugas kesehatan di lapangan
baik itu perawat maupun bidan diharapkan dapat mengaplikasikan peran sesbagai
educator dalam memberikan informasi berupa penyuluhan kepada ibu tentang
perlunya Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) dan role mode sehingga ibu
mampu melakukan pencegahan terhadap terjadinya penyakit, khususnya kejadian
diare pada anak.
