Festivals are mostly celebrated to propagate the cultural heritage of
a city or a nation. Festivals highlight various aspects of society. It Ppt slide # 10

profound meaning in it and they also have pragmatic purpose. All
across the Philippines, fun-loving Filipinos celebrate a host of
festivals for various reasons. Most festivals are religious in origin,
but nowadays the religious component is usually secondary to the
general spirit of celebration.
