Relaxation to MSEs in fresh registration with
RDSO
◦ Vendor registration fees for MSEs is Rs. 15000/-
against Rs. 25000/- for other than MSEs and $1000 for
Overseas firms.

MSEs are identified separately, in the Vendor
Directory as
‘M’ for Micro Enterprises,
‘S’ for Small Enterprises and
‘OTH’ for Others
to facilitate the Railways for placing orders on MSEs
20% of tendered quantity is reserved for MSEs

4. Visit to Firm’s Premises:- RDSO officer will visit the

Capability Assessment

In case of Failure of sample
• Firm is required to submit Corrective and Preventive actions
and request for Re-testing of Sample
• Sample to be tested for all the parameters.

6. Capability Assessment Report:-. The duly completed
“Inspection and Capability Assessment Report” with Test
Results are submitted to the Directorate head

Up-gradation of Vendors from ‘Developmental ’ to
‘Approved Vendors’:-
Vendors are upgraded to ‘Approved Vendors’ only after
compliance to Quantity and Performance criteria.
