ABSTRACT
One of the obstacles in nickel mining is the change of nickel (Ni) and iron
content (Fe) from modeling results that are not in accordance with the level of
mining realization results, this mismatch can decrease the quality of production.
The aim of this research is to know the percentage change of nickel (Ni) and iron
(Fe) content from modeling result with mining realization. The research method
includes making block model from drill point data and sample processing of
mining realization to know the level. The next step is to analyze the level data to
know the average of nickel and iron content. The result of modeling is average of
Ni = 1.90% and Fe = 16.46% while the average value of mining realization is Ni =
1.78% and Fe = 21.24%. while the difference in the rate of the modeling results
with the realization of mining is Ni = 0.12% and Fe = -4.78%. from the results of
the study can be concluded that the level of modeling results changed the rate on
the realization of mining.
