Businesses today have access to more information than ever before. Information will be the main
cartelist for the growth in the global economic of the 2000s. But the share volume of information
available presents a real challenge to business managers. Obviously manager cannot use all the
information. The challenge is to collect, store, process, report and uses the most relevant
information to make more effective decision.

Computers help firms meet this challenge. They assist managers in converting data into useful
information. Thus information is data organized certain needs. Firms are becoming increasingly
dependent on computers to transform data into useful information.
In my organization (telecom sector) it is obvious that every employee should know the basic
computer applications. When we recruit new employee it is mandatory to know basic MS office
applications.
I am working there as a HR senior executive I have to provides HR administrative functions in
the areas of recruitment, training and development, people and performance management, social
welfare as well as updating and maintenance of HR records.
My company, understanding the business value in implementing HR software (Human Resource
Software) which can dramatically help HR and line managers to automate routine tasks and
processes, resulting in reducing paperwork, improving efficiency and saving time. HR software
is often the key to helping a company¶s growth.

Some of the key benefits of HR software by automating the common tasks and processes will
typically provide savings in time of over 50%; such as employees change in personal details,
holiday approval, sickness recording, appraisals, training & development, salary & career
changes, etc.

A good HR software solution should form the backbone of a company¶s HR operation,


delivering information and analysis on every individual, job, department and division. It should
let you manage career progression, model salaries, monitor absence trends to handling appraisals
and performance reviews, tracking training and qualifications to planning competencies and
succession.

HR software covers a range of different functions from core HR information, recruitment, time
management, payroll and expenses, to training and skills management, and can operate across a
variety of different IT technologies.

Completing the Maintain Performance Appraisal Form we do bellow things:

improve the productivity of the organization and help us to take better decisions by providing
access to reliable and relevant up to date HR information for the organization.
