POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Manager, Sponsorships, will prepare and execute a comprehensive
sponsorship plan, capitalizing on interest from outside companies and organizations to advertise with
our district in a variety of ways (athletics, broadcast, performances, etc.). The Assistant Manager,
Sponsorships, will increase the district’s financial stability by developing new sponsorship opportunities
within our district and meeting those sales objectives. The Assistant Manager, Sponsorships, works
collaboratively but largely independently with the Office of Communications team and reports to the
Department Manager, Marketing.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Achieves sponsorship and sales objectives by contributing advertising recommendations to


strategic plans and reviews; prepares and completes action plans.
 Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
 Resolves problems, identifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements change.
 Creates and sustains relationships with clients and community stakeholders; networks new leads
and business.
 Develops new materials, documents, signs, programs, and other items to attract sponsor interest.
 Oversees design and production of sponsored materials.
 Meets sponsorship financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing goals, scheduling
expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Creative Lead will use exceptional graphic design skills and project
management experience to develop a variety of visual materials in a range of media; develop new
materials that drive innovation in the fields of marketing and sponsorships; and oversee brand standards
for the district. In the Office of Communications, the Creative Lead will work under the direct supervision
of, and in collaboration with, the Assistant Manager, Sponsorships.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Uses exceptional graphic design skills to develop a variety of visual materials in a range of media,
including print, online, and video.
 Develops new materials that drive innovation in the fields of school marketing and sponsorships.
 Assists in the development of brand standards for the district and its various schools and
programs, followed by continuing oversight of brand standards and their consistent, correct use.
 Uses artistic skill and commercial art practices to design materials that engage a wide range of
specific audiences; generate interest and excitement on social media and other platforms; and
illustrate reports, programs, and ideas for publications, exhibition, and technical uses.
 Meets with staff and stakeholders from across our district to solve design challenges and provide
graphic design support, working collaboratively to prioritize needs and create visual solutions to
reach audiences and convey information.
 Applies project management experience to move many different projects toward completion
simultaneously, prioritizing as appropriate.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager, Citizen Information Center, will oversee several aspects of
the process that connects members of our community with information and guidance using a
collaborative, customer service driven approach. In the Office of Communications, the Program
Manager, Citizen Information Center, works under the direct supervision of, and in collaboration with,
the Department Manager, Media Outreach.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Interacts with members of the public and media with a professional, positive, problem-solving
attitude.
 Receives, prepares, tracks, and distributes public records requests, coordinating with members
of the public, members of the media, other divisions within our school district, communications
staff, and district leaders.
 Coordinates billing, money handling, and tracking for extra fees associated with some complex
records requests, using a policy developed by Communications.
 Processes, tracks, and responds to incoming messages to school board members and certain
district staff members from citizens who need guidance. Provides answers, forwards requests to
other divisions, tracks all messages, and follows through to ensure answering of questions.
 Tracks and gives public notice of public meetings and events.
 Determines commonly requested data that should be posted online for easier access by the
public.
