RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
The following report will discuss the practice in Physical Chemistry Laboratory, held on Thursday,
June 21, in which we sought to determine the specific heat of a solid (coins of 1 new sun),
conducting a simple experiment, using a calorimeter, thermometer, water, solid (coins), kettle
and a scale.
The experimental data were collected such as: mass of the empty calorimeter, temperature
and mass of the water, temperature and mass of the solid (this was done 3 times).
At the end of the experiments we obtained precise results of the water equivalent of the
calorimeter used; with these results we also find the uncertainty (standard deviation).
