“Imarat Shilpa Sramik Union Sawnirbhor Gosti” at Banerjee Para Road had gifted a land
measuring about eight kathas to KMC for above project through a gift deed. In this regard an
agreement was executed between KMC and Imarat Shilpa Sramik Union Sawnirbhor Gosti.
Accordingly at above mentioned premises 32 nos. DUs, including common facilities at
ground floors of two block of five storied building had been constructed in the year 2013. The
project was initially started under the head of BSUP ( JnNURM) but in the mean time the
project was dropped from the end of BSUP Authority.
Finally the 32 nos. DUs are ready to use but the allotment was kept pending for a long
period due to non settlement of beneficiaries as “Imarat Shilpa Sramik Union Sawnirbhor
Gosti” had been changed the name of 4 nos. beneficiaries from their earlier list of 32 nos.
beneficiaries that is published in KMC website by Bustee dept.
Now in the meeting held on 19.07.2016 at the chamber of Honb’le Mayor in presence of
MMIC (BS/TP), Chief Law officer, it was decided that two nos. DUs at above mentioned project
site will be allotted for time being in the favour of I) Sri Budhadev Ghosh, II) Barnali Dey.
considering their enclosed appeal letter addressed to Hon’ble mayor. The above mentioned
two families were evicted for project development work of Kolkata Municipal Corporation
within Borough –XIV area and will have to temporally accommodated without any
preconditioned & agreement till the direction of Municipal Authority.
Under the circumstances kind approval of Honb’le Mayor / MMIC (BS/TP)/ Mpl.
Commissioner are solicited for the followings:
i) To allow two nos. DUs for accommodation of applicant in the name of Sri Budhadev
Ghosh & Smt. Barnali Dey for the time being without any precondition and agreement till
further order of authority.
ii) D.G. Electrical may kindly be requested to provide temporary electric connection to the
above two nos. DUs with passage light etc.
