We are grateful to those who give of
their time and care to bring Holy
Communion to our parishioners who
cannot make it to church due to sick-
ness or infirmity. If you know of anyone who would
like to receive communion in their home or while hos-
pitalized at West Lincoln Hospital, please contact the
parish office.
SANCTUARY LAMP
We have openings for the Sanctuary Lamp in 2019.
If you would like to book a particular week in memory
of your loved one, please contact the office sooner ra-
ther than later as the year is filling up. Cost is $35.00
per week.
CANADIAN TIRE MONEY
We continue to collect your Canadian Tire
money. It can be brought to the office or
placed in the collection basket.

CWL NEWS
CWL Regional Conference – October 24th
Tins of Meat for the Homeless: This year, the CWL
will gather tins of canned meat for the Homeless.
Would you kindly bring the tins and place them in the
bin at the back of the church. One of our CWL mem-
bers will transfer them to the basement after each
Mass. Thank you.
CWL Christmas Dinner: Tuesday December 4th af-
ter the 6:30 Mass. We welcome all ladies of the parish
to join the CWL members at a Christmas Dinner. Tick-
ets will be going on sale shortly at a cost of $25.00 per
person. Tickets can be purchased from Colleen Drake
or any of the executive members.

SUPPORT GROUP
For persons separated or divorced: would it help you to
have people around you to understand what you're go-
ing through? The St. Catharines Diocese support group
meets every second and fourth Monday (7:00-9:00
p.m.) at Mt. Carmel Spiritual Centre. For info, call

LEAVING MASS EARLY/AFTER COMMUNION
Just a reminder that Mass has not ended until the priest
and ministers have left the altar and the recessional
hymn is finished. In the name of Christ and the com-
munity and with the blessing of almighty God, we are
sent out into the world to “be” good news for all whom
we meet. It is a courtesy to God and the community not
to leave the assembly early.

die each day due to poverty.
Jesus told the man who wanted to inherit eternal life:
“Go sell what you have and give to the poor.” Pope
Francis has said: Giving to the poor is our “passport
to paradise.”
Millionaire Brian Burnie sold his $26-million estate to
fund a charity to fly cancer patients to hospitals. Inves-
tor Zell Kravinsky gave away over $45-million and even
donated his own kidney to a stranger. Today’s Gospel
is an “inconvenient truth” that can speak to all of us.

DIOCESAN ANNIVERSARY MASS
Married couples celebrating a 25th, 40th, 50th or 60th
anniversary in the year 2018 are invited to the diocesan
anniversary Mass, Monday November 26, 2018, 5:30
pm at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, St.
Catharines. To register and receive a formal invitation
from Bishop Gerard Bergie, contact the parish office at

12. Details will be included in the formal invitation.
BLESSED TRINITY’S ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE
Sunday, October 28th marks Blessed Trinity’s 15th an-
nual Pilgrimage walk in support of the impoverished
community of Las Pajas in the Dominican Republic.
This annual event raises funds and awareness for less
fortunate communities. Since the inception of this an-
nual walk, the people of Las Pajas have seen improve-
ment in education, health, and living conditions. But
there is still more to do. If you wish to assist with this
great cause, donations can be made at the Blessed Trini-
ty Student Services Department. You are most welcome
to join our walk. We begin the day with Mass at 9 am
in our gym, followed by our walk at 10 am.
