Lesson Plan

Objective: Students will learn the meaning of obsessive compulsive disorder, the symptoms, and

compulsions. Explain how obsessive-compulsive disorder affects a student’s learning disability.

Students will also learn about the cycle of OCD and the risk factors. I decided to do this topic

because I already knew what OCD about and I want to learn more depth about OCD, in which I

did learn more about obsessive compulsive disorder.

Materials/Equipment: The handouts will be shown on screen and I will be using my flash drive

to show my PowerPoint on the screen.

Instruction: First, I will ask students base on their knowledge what do they know about OCD,

next I will start explaining in detail what is OCD and how it affects students and so on.

Closure: Inclusive, obsessive compulsive disorder is a chronic disorder and people

have the same thoughts over and over. How does this benefit you as a future teacher?
