Dear Sir or Madam, with this letter, i would like to express my interest in International
Student Forum in Thailand.

Someone once told me that you were born for a reason. Don’t try to be someone else,do
every step with confidence and happiness. Than whatever you do will not be in vain and be a
valuable lesson for yourself.

Before I speak further in this motivational letter allow me to thank the committee in Faculty
of Nursing, Jember University has given opportunity for me to try the 9th International
Nursing Student Forum 2018 in Thailand.

Let me introduce myself. My full name is Tsaniya Kusumawardhani. Often called Tsaniya. I
was born and raised in simple family in Banyuwangi. My father worked as a village
consultant and my mother was a snack seller at school. I have one brother and one sister who
are still in school.

I am currently studying Bachelor’s Degree in Faculty of Nursing at the Jember University in

Indonesia. At first, the reason I want to be a nurse is my mother. When she was young she
want to be a nurse but she can’t reach her dream because of the lower economic condition.
She always told me that being a nurse is a noble job that can help people others who need
healt care. After undergoing college for 7 semesters, I know why mother really want to be a
nurse. Become a nurse doesn’t mean I will only take care of others, but I also take care of
myself to be a better person. I have met many people with various conditions, various thought,
and various personalities, from there I learned to appreciate others, especially myself, I
leraned to be more grateful in all circumstances and I learned that happiness can be obtained
from even small things like smiling.

In addition to te experience I got from nursing, I also trying to get another experince from
other activities. I had been experience volunteer in Thailand about education and I being an
english teacher in school at rural village. From that volunteer I found a lot of ideas with
young people from various countries with different educational backgrounds which
eventually led to a spirit for me to gain more knowledge and give what I have more to others.

That’s why I was very delighted to find the opportunity to spend my time to join this forum. I
have decided to apply for this forum because i am sure it would strongly enrich my future
studies and help me in my prospective career. Moreover I consider this forum as a great
oppportunity to get in touch with Thailand culture and educational system. Last but no least, I
am very curious about difference approaches to the scope of nursing from another country.

If I had been chosen as participant of International Nursing Student Forum 2018, i will use
this opportunity as well as possible. I will build a network between fellow youth from various
countries and synergize with them and find additional creative and innovative ideas that I can
apply in my area, I also hope INFS can inspire my life, awaken and maintain the spirit to
continue to work and realize the social projects that I initiated so that I was able to contribute
to alleviating health problems in Indonesia.

Thus this motivation letter was made, in orde to meet the requirements of the International
Nursng Student Forum. Thank you for considering my request, I look forward to ypur
positive response.
