Duties & Responsibilities:

 Material receiving, inspection and review of documents.

 Witnessing all the Inspection activities in accordance with Customer requirements.
 Monitoring the fit up and weld visual, stage inspection e.g. weld preparation, fit
up, and dimensional checkup cross verification of electrodes, inspection reports.
 Welder qualification (WQT) and continuous assessment of their performance.
 Verifying and reviewing the NDT requirements & results/reports of RTFI VT UT MT
LPT for code compliance.
 Interpretation and evaluation of weld radiographs.
 Carry out the final visual and dimensional Inspections as per approved ITPs &
drawings.
 Witness of hydro test / pressure test.
 Review of surface preparation and protective coating procedure along with client
coating specification.
 Reviewing the environment condition log book, paint storage and paint materials
and batch certificates.
 Reviewing the TDS and MSDS of the paint products
  Blasting inspection including visual, surface profile, salt contamination and dust
test as per approved procedure and specification/ ISO,NACE & SSPC Standards.
 Coating inspection of each coat as per approved coating procedure and spec.
 Inspection of wet film thickness by comb gauge for each coat.
 Inspection of dry film thickness by using magnetic dry film gauge.
 Witnessing the application of internal lining, rubber lining of the equipments.
 Witnessing the adhesion test, holiday test, hardness, DFT for each coat of internal
lined vessel and protective coating as per approved procedure and specifications
are implemented.
 Reviewing the manufacturer Data Reports (MDRs) and ensuring that the
fabrication is done as per customer requirements.
 Final inspection of shipment and delivery condition.
 Providing Inspection Reports in good time to the Customer.
