1. Depending on the sport, team size, available time,
and available facilities, the season could be configured such that each team plays each other team once or twice. Hence, the inclusion of Season Halves.
2. Depending on such factors such the length of an
official game and the number of venues available, team size, the total number of games played per class may not coincide with the rounds as listed below. The listing of games per class listed here assumes that every class has team practices scheduled.
3. If time allows, be sure to build in 1-2 back-up days.
For example in the template below, Day 6 serves as a back-up day for any unscheduled delays or cancelled days. In case the back-up day is not needed for make-up games it can be used either as a day for class-wide instruction (e.g., a workshop on advanced level tactics); introducing new student roles; a regular practice/scrimmage day; or a one-day unit that focuses on a different activity (as a change in pace).
4. It is also strongly encouraged to include a day
toward the end of the season that can serve as a back up day for completing the competition. 5-Team Round Robin Tourna

NOTES & SUGGESTIONS:
1. Depending on the sport, team size, available time, and
available field/court space, the season can be configured such that each team plays each other team once or twice. The template to the right shows a format where time for the actual season is limited in that teams play each other only once.
2. Also depending on such factors such the length of an
official game and the number of venues available, team size, the total number of games played per class may not coincide with the rounds as listed below. The listing of games per class listed here assumes that every class has team practices scheduled.
3. If time allows, be sure to build in 1-2 back-up days. For
example in this template, Day 5 serves as a back-up day for any unscheduled delays or cancelled classes. In case the back-up day is not needed for make-up games, it can tbreakers be used either as a day for class-wide instruction (e.g., a workshop on advanced level tactics); introducing new student roles; a regular practice/scrimmage day; or a one-day unit that focuses on a different activity (as a change in pace).
4. It is also strongly encouraged to include a day toward
the end of the season that can serve as a back up day for completing the competition. In the example to the right, Day 9 has some back-up time available. ter A. Hastie, man Kinetics. 7-Team Round Robin Tournament Structure

1. Depending on the sport, team size, available time, and
available field/court space, the season can be configured such that each team plays each other team once or twice. The template shown here has a format where time for the actual season is limited to 10 days (with built-in back-up days) with teams playing each other once.
2. Again, the length of an official game, the number of
venues available, team size, the total number of games played per class may not coincide with the rounds as listed below. The listing of games per class listed here assumes that every class has team practices scheduled. For example, if only two courts/fields are available, OR if time only permits two games per class, it would lengthen the season by an extra 6-7 days (not counting back-up days).
3. Time permitting, the season should have 1 to 2 back-up
days imbedded. For example in this template, Day 4 serves as a back-up day for any unscheduled delays or cancelled classes. In case the back-up day is not needed for make-up games, it can be used either as a day for class-wide instruction (e.g., a workshop on advanced level tactics); introducing new student roles; a regular practice/scrimmage day; or a one-day unit that focuses on a different activity (as a change in pace).
4. It is also strongly encouraged to include a day toward
