CRU START UP PROCEDURE

Section 1
1) Line up Separation Gas (Instrument Air) and make sure the pressure is above
1.2 psi.
2) Reset the Local Control Panel from field.
3) Start the Oil mist fan from field.
4) After 10 minutes start the lube, Oil pump G-151A or G-151B from field.
5) Lineup the seal gas to the system, (startup seal gas is from shuiba or HP gas
scrubber)

Section 2
Note

6) TV control system Flare butterfly valve PIC 3510 Put auto mode
set point 3.7 inH2O.
7) HP condensate disharge scrubber flare valve PIC 3433A open
manually 50% and Gas exporting valve PIC 3433B Put auto mode
300Psi.
8) HIC 3403 and HIC 3409 Open100%.
9) Put POS PIT 3413A/B/C from DCS.

10) Reset the Level 3 shutdown from the operator facia HS3401.

11) Reset the Local control panel from field.

12) Start the HP and TV discharge coolers from the field,

13) Open the ESDV3421, ESDV3425, ESDV3426, ESDV3427, ESDV3423 from field,

14) Press the “CLOSE” push button HS3403B, HS3409B of the antisurge control
valve FCV3403, FCV3409 from field respectively.

15) Check the TV compressor pressure if it is below 12psig Open the ESDV 3420
from field,

16) Reset the VSD from substation, On the VSD Breaker

17) Check in the CRU system for the “READY FOR START”
If everything is ready in Control room, substation, and field,
Start the compressor from field.

18) After startup the compressor reset the Local control Panel from field so that we
can close the anti surge valve slowly.
19) HIC3403 and HIC 3409 slowly give the output 95, 90, 85…..etc until reach the
control point near to the control line in the performance map.

20) PIC 3433B Valve starts opening slowly close the HP flare valve i.e. PIC3433A.
Once the system is stabilize change the PIC3401 to auto mode with the set point of
2.5 InH2O

21) Start the HP condensate pump from field when the sufficient level is reached in
the HP discharge scrubber.
