II. Subject/Skill:
III. Objective(s)
IV. Procedures
1. The objective of today’s lesson plan will be to teach the student a variety
of behavioral techniques to use in their classrooms for effective behavioral
management. The specific definitions, and concepts of each technique will
be clearly taught to the students.
2. A prerequisite for having this lesson plan be successful would be that the
students should have previously read chapter 12 on classroom
management. The students should have already understood the key terms
and definitions of techniques for dealing with behavior problems which is
the purpose of this lesson plan.
3. The demonstration for teaching the techniques for behavior problems will
be accomplished by use of a PowerPoint presentation.
4. As part of the active learning process students will become engaged
because four students will volunteer to roleplay throughout portions of the
PowerPoint presentation.
5. The students understanding of the material will be assessed at the end of
the lesson plan when they do the assessment.
V. Materials
The students will not be separated into groups, but there will be four
volunteers that will be used during this lesson plan.
VII. Modifications
For this lesson plan there will be no modifications. If there are any behavior
challenges such as disruptions during the lesson plan I will ask them nicely to
refrain from the unnecessary interruptions.
VIII. Assessment
IX. Closure
At the end of the lesson plan I will ask the students if they have any questions
regarding the techniques used for behavior problems that were taught during
the PowerPoint presentation.
