TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK
Tanjung Puting National Park is a famous destination to visit, which is located in
Kalimantan peninsula. Visitors from foreign countries come to this park because of its amazing nature. This is called a park, but unlike any park in city, this is a jungle! It is a real jungle, which is home to interesting animal: orangutans. Although the park is home to many animals, seeing orangutans is usually the visitors’ reason to visit the park. Orangutans are arboreal. It means that most of their lives are spent in trees where orangutans travel from branch to branch by climbing or swinging with their long arms. To see orangutans, we should go to Camp Leakey, which is located in the heart of Tanjung Puting National Park. Camp Leakey is a place to rehabilitate and preserve orangutans. It is also a famous place for research about orangutans since 1971. Here visitors can see daily feedings to orangutans at jungle as part of the rehabilitation process. To reach the place, we should take a boat down Sekonyer river. This small boat is called perahu klotok, which can accommodate four people. The trip by the boat to Camp Leakey takes three days and two nights. You sleep, cook, and eat in that klotok, night and day during your journey into the jungle. The traveling in the boat offers an impressive experience. In daylight, on your way to Camp Leakey, you can see trees filled with monkeys that have enormous snout. At night, you can enjoy the clear sky and the bright stars as the lights for the night.

3 9. The students learn that there is a rule/order of mentioning adjectives before noun. Opinion, size, age, colour, origin, material. 30 10. The students work in group of four. Each group gets three sets minutes of card. Each set contains six adejctives which show six different categories (opinion, size, age, colour, origin, material) and one noun. 11. The students identify the category of each adjective and arrange the adjectives. 12. The representative of each group writes down the three noun phrases in correct order on the whiteboard. 13. The students guided by the teacher check the answer together.
