Taxicabs

 The Taxicab Stand will be located on Roosevelt Way. Passengers will board taxicabs at the intersection of
Roosevelt Way and Stadium Drive.
o Taxicabs will enter and exit Roosevelt Way via Marconi Drive.
 Any taxicab found outside of the designated route and/or cabstand will be subject to a citation, immobilization,
and/or towing.

TNC Drivers

 There will be a restricted zone imposed from 10:00AM to 1:00AM on Friday October 26, Saturday October 27, and
Sunday October 28.
 TNC drivers may not perform pick-ups or drop-offs in the cabstand per CCNO 162-1735.
 Uber drivers will enter the designated Uber lot via Dreyfous Drive (from Marconi) and exit via Victory Avenue
(heading towards Marconi).
o Uber drivers are prohibited from entering the restricted zone other than the designated route and pickup
location.
 Lyft drivers will enter the designated Lyft lot via Moss St. from Desaix Blvd and must exit in the same manner. Lyft
drivers are prohibited from entering the restricted zone.
 TNC drivers may operate freely outside of the restricted zone.
 Any TNC vehicle found within the restricted area, indicated on the map will be subject to a citation,
embolization, and/or towing as well as removal from all TNC platforms for a period of one (1) year.
 The TNC platform will also be subject to administrative sanctions.

Stopping and Standing in Traffic Lanes (Reminder to TNC Drivers)

It is illegal to stop:

 in traffic lanes;
 in front of or within three feet of the curb return in a public or private driveway, wheelchair ramp or bicycle ramp;
 within an intersection;
 within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
 On a crosswalk;
 Within 20 feet of a crosswalk (if one exists) or an intersection; or
 Within 20 feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, yield sign, or traffic control signal located at the
side of a roadway;
to pick up and drop off customers per Chapter 154-923(a) of the City of New Orleans Municipal Code. This is a public safety
issue and the police will be enforcing traffic laws. Additionally, such activity is a violation of Chapter 162-443 of the City of
New Orleans Municipal Code, and Taxicab Bureau Investigators will be documenting incidents and issuing citations to Taxis
and TNCs accordingly. Further, all drivers should be reminded that street hailing is prohibited by Chapter 162-1734 of the
City of New Orleans Municipal Code.

Pedicabs

 Pedicabs are prohibited from entering the restricted zone.

Any pedicab found within the restricted zone will be subject to a citation, immobilization, and/or towing.
