Content
The course will critically examine the states, regardless of their level of development and reputation, from country
risks perspective. The results may vary from year to year, from one positive point to the other positive point or
from one positive point to a negative point. Students will be encouraged to assess country risk within one specific
time span (short, medium, long) through observing several factors influencing the risk. At the end, students are
expected to master a structure of logical thinking to carry out the country risk assessment as well as to have a
sense of awareness on the need to help establish a stable country, which is not only raising the quality of its own
people, but also internationally acceptable by the world community.
Objectives
Students are required to be in class and to actively participate in class instructions. Students will complete a mid-
term exam, final exam, group presentation.
