PRESENTATION
ACTIVITY V – My room (whole class)
Aims: to introduce the new language related to items in their rooms and where they are.
Time: 5 min.
Procedure: T. holds up cards representing items on a room. She asks questions to check
whether SS. know the words. SS. repeat the words. For each item T. makes a sentence
and the SS. repeat after him.
e.g. T: What’s this?’
SS: ‘ A chair.’
T: ‘Good. There is a chair in my room.’
T: ‘ Now, where is the chair?’. ‘ It’s under the desk.’
SS: ‘Where is the chair?’ ‘It’s under the desk.’

PRACTICE
ACTIVITY VI – Where is the mouse?
Aim: to practice the rooms in the house, the ‘where is…’ questions and the prepositions
of place.
Time: 15 min.
Procedure: Ss. look in the workbooks and circle the rooms where the mouse is. Then,
they have to colour the house and the rooms where the mouse is.
