1. As the students: “What is the function of the underlined words in the given sentences?”
2. As the students: “What kind of adjective used in the given sentences?”
3. Arrange the following sentences in the Motivation which have comparative degrees of
adjective.
4. Let the student observe the sentences, then, ask the following questions:
4.1. What are the similarities of the sentences?
5. Introduce the Comparative Degree of Adjectives.
5.1. The Comparative Degree is used when comparing two person or things.
5.2. The Comparative degree of adjectives with one or two syllables is formed by adding er
or more + positive form of the adjective.
6. Arrange the following sentences in the Motivation which have superlative degrees of
adjective.
7. Let the student observe the sentences, then, ask the following questions:
7.1. What are the similarities of the sentences?
8. Introduce the Superlative Degree of Adjectives.
8.1. The Superlative Degree of adjective with two or more syllables is formed by adding
most before the adjective.
8.2. The superlative degree of adjectives is formed by adding est or having most + the
positive form of the adjective.
9. Let the students define the difference of comparative and superlative adjective.
