 Complete copy cataloging of new acquisitions, including monographs, printed music, recordings, and video media, using
multiple resources and classification systems for a collection of over 45,000 books and scores and 12,700 audio/visual
materials.
 Develop professional skills and proficiencies through participation in ongoing cataloging training--general and music-
specific-- including subject analysis, maps and broadsides, A/V materials, and recently-adopted RDA standards.
 Implement and manage StackMap system for Music Library collection.
 Manage the Music Library’s relationship with third-party bindery to ensure efficient and accurate processing of softcover
materials, including complex score + part publications.
 Coordinate and oversee physical processing of all new materials by student staff.
 Create and maintain LibGuide research guides for each instrument, major area, and specialty subjects.

 Fixed problems with print serials subscriptions. Worked with vendors to correct problems with claimed or missing issues.

to resolve issues and respond to patrons in a timely manner during on-duty hours with library’s E-Resources Team.
 Participated in detailed behind-the-scenes upkeep to ensure smooth, accurate, and comprehensive access to electronic
