 Recognize the layout of a postcard; and
 Write a postcard to a pen friend about themselves answering his questions.
 Material(s): Student’s textbook and the BB.

minutes Brainstorming: Setting the
-T raises SS motivation and awareness about the topic. scene

Drafting:
-T asks SS to write a postcard about their school (respond to the
questionnaire on page 17) to a pen friend.
-T monitors the class by going around the rows and checking
SS’ work and progress. Revising
Revising:
-T asks SS to exchange their postcards and revise.
Editing: Editing
-T asks SS to edit their first drafts if there are any mistakes and
write the last draft.
17 Post-writing stage

-T has SS read out their final draft in front of each other. (oral
-T writes a postcard on the BB with the help of Ss. (Whole-class presentation)
