7. As you may be aware that the Executive Council of the Government of Dubai has
recently issued a Resolution No (2) of 2014, regarding the introduction of
“Tourism Dirham” compulsory on all booked hotel accommodation in Dubai. The
Tourism Dirham implementation date will be effective 31st March, 2014 for all the
exiting confirmed and future bookings.
The above costing does not include this tax and it is to be paid by the guest
directly at the hotel at the time of Checkout. Please inform all your clients about
this newly introduced fee by Dubai Government to avoid any misunderstandings
or disappointments.
