ROUTE: PITONG KULOD and descend via LONTAC TRAIL ,BRYG.

STO NINO PILI CAMARINES SUR


2DAYS AND 1 NIGHT

THIS ITINERARY IS DESIGNED AND RECOMMENDED FOR WELL-TRAINED HIKERS/MOUNTAINEERS

KULOD (in Tagalog KULOT or WAVY/CURLY Hills and Ridges of Mount Isarog)

DAY 1

6:00am – 6:30 am Pili Centro to Barangay Sto Nino

6:30am – 7:00 am Arrive at Jump Off Secure Guides And Permit

7:00am – 7:30 am From Jump Off to Main Entrance of the Pitong Kulod Trail
(the entry point of Main Entrance has Water Source)

7:30am – 8:00am TREE PLANTING and Side Trip to Japanese Imperial Army Tunnel

8:00am – 9:30am From Japanese War Tunnel to 1ST KULOD

9:30am – 10:00am From 1st KULOD to 2nd KULOD


( ISABELA Falls , Water Source )

10:00am – 11:30 am From 2nd KULOD to 3rd KULOD

11:30am -12: 00NN Lunch at Entrance of 3RD KULOD

12:00NN- 1:30 pm From 3rd KULOD to 4th KULOD

( 4th KULOD also known as PINAKSOLAN ,derived from the English Word
FOXHOLES or PAKSOL in Bicol , 4th KULOD is the former Japanese Imperial Army
Camp where 40 Foxholes were dug in as a form of defensive and ambush
strategic maneuver against American Forces during the second World War )

( Can accommodate up to 30 Tents )(50-80 persons)

1:30pm - 2:30 pm From 4th KULOD to 5th KULOD

5TH KULOD OR RESEARCHERS CAMP it serves as the central station of the


researchers that re-track the war trails of Mt.Isarog

( KAMBAL FALLS , Water Source)

2:30pm – 3:30 pm From 5th KULOD to 6th KULOD


(Final Water Source)
3:30pm – 5:00 pm From 6th KULOD to 7TH KULOD/SUMMIT
( Summit Camp Site can only accommodate up to 10 Tents this camp site is
suitable for Hammocks not tents.)

DAY 2

5:00am - 6:00 am Prepare Breakfast and Packed Lunch

6:00am – 7:00am Photo Ops / Picture taking

7:00am – 7:30am Pack up of Camp Site

( Leave no trace Policy , any hiker/s liable of leaving any Garbage in the camp
site will suffer a lifetime BAN in MT. ISAROG and the name of the said Violator
will be forwarded and recommended for further restrictions to all National
Parks and Protected Areas of the Philippine Republic )

7:30am – 8:30 am From Summit /AVELINO PEAK TO BAO PEAK

8:30 am – 12:00NN from BAO PEAK descend via LONTAC TRAIL

12:00NN- 12:30pm LUNCH ALONG THE TRAIL

12:30pm - 1:30pm Back at Jump off

(Washing Area is Available at Jump Off)

NOTE:

This Itinerary is subject to changes depending in the pacing, weather conditions and other unforeseen
circumstances that may occur.

This itinerary is purely based on the hypothetical analysis with technical calculations by the
Research Team who re-traced the war trails of Mt.Isarog, since the latter were not considered
mountaineers this itinerary do not display the actual and exact details of pacing, movement and
speed to be covered by a legitimate mountaineers/hikers.
