· I received this award for the 2018-2019 school year. With this award, I created harm reduction
trainings that are presented in 4 cities in Guilford County that have high rates of opioid overdoses. I
then evaluate people’s knowledge and implementation of harm reduction strategies.

STUDIES | MAY 2018-
· I work with Guilford County Solution to the Opioid Problem. As an undergraduate research assistant, I
do data entry, conduct harm reduction trainings, and gather data for grants and research.

HEALTH IMPACT TEAM MEMBER | UNCG CENTER FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
STUDIES | AUGUST 27, 2018-
· As a member of the Health Impact Team, I go out with other team members and canvas neighborhoods
for people who have children with environmentally-induced asthma and possible lead poisoning. We go
door to door conducting risk assessments and then refer people to local agencies that offer services
that can help improve quality of life and public health.

DATA ENTRY | UNCG OFFICE OF RESEARCH AND ENGAGEMENT | SEPTEMBER 15, 2018-
· Using the SPSS software, I code survey responses regarding gun violence and enter sensitive
information regarding domestic violence offenders and record case tracking.
